Artist Submissions
The mission of the Mills Gallery in the Lubbers Center for the Visual Arts at Central College is to educate, inspire, provoke thought and to provide enjoyment for the college and larger Pella communities. Through a range of activities and exhibitions, we strive to integrate art into the lives of people.
The Mills Gallery maintains a regular schedule of exhibitions and related activities throughout the school year. Artists are chosen to represent a range of media and styles and serve as a resource for teaching and life-long learning. Consideration is given to the possible integration of the exhibition and activities across disciplines. A typical year would include 5 – 6 exhibitions of approximately 4 weeks. Funds for transportation/honoraria are awarded dependent on budget. Preference is given to artists willing to travel to campus.
