Tom Mazzullo: Silverpoint Drawings

Tom Mazzullo earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 1990, and an MFA from Syracuse University in 1993. He teaches drawing at the University of Denver and at the Art Students League of Denver.
He works in silverpoint, a rare drawing medium which uses a stylus made of soft metal to draw on specially-prepared papers. After a few years the silver begins to tarnish, and the drawing takes on a warm, dark luster.
