Work Order Requests
It is important that you take a moment and read the information below to successfully submit a work request for maintenance and custodial needs. Our dedicated staff will respond as soon as possible to address any repairs or custodial concerns. Please be patient as we receive many work orders and prioritize them according to urgency.
In cases of emergency maintenance issues (i.e. water flood, building power outage, no heat in winter months), please contact the following:
Monday – Friday (8AM – 5PM) – call Facilities Management at (641) 628-7676
Weeknights, Weekends, & Holidays – call Campus Safety at (641) 628-9000
Routine Work Orders
If you need service in your residence hall room, office or else-where on campus, please complete and send the request form by clicking here (do not use for emergency requests!) Please contact Facilities Management if you have not previously registered to submit a work order and would like instructions sent to you.
If you have several issues to report (i.e. toilet stopped up, ac not working, blinds broke) you need to submit three work orders. Why? Because each of these issues are sent to different trades staff
(i.e. plumbing technician, HVAC technician, carpenter). Be clear and specific when reporting the issue.
